The following information is about Mini-series.
Mini-series Defined
A comic book series that is scheduled to run only a certain number of issues (usually six or fewer), and then end. An analogy would a television program such as "Arabian Nights," which ended after a specific number of airings and after telling a specific story. A mini-series can have a frequency from weekly to semiannually, but most are at least bimonthly.

Justice League Teams With The 99

DC's Source blog has no shortage of news these days, and today the official news outlet for the publisher revealed the company has plans for a rather newsworthy team-up - the Justice League will star in a new mini-series with The 99, a superhero team "based on Islamic culture and history." The 99 is published by Teshkeel Comics.

- One Thousand Casmurros: To pay homage to one of Brazil?s most respected writers, Machado de Assis, the largest TV network in Brazil was launching a mini-series based on one of his books, Dom Casmurro. Through the launch of the mini-series, we needed to build up TV Globo?s reputation with a new generation, disconnected from the television. We created a website with the book, divided into one thousand excerpts. In the website, people could choose and record pieces in real time with their webcam. We enabled a large scale collective reading.
